Paint Correction Second Stage - posted: 07/04/2010
The second stage of the paint correction took place over the Easter
weekend.
This involved the whole paintwork being machine polished using special
products.
This process is required every year to ensure a high standard of finish.
Stone Chips, Road Debris, Tar, Soot, Rubber etc, all play their part
in attacking the
paint finish on cars.
Once the car has received an intesive cleansing wash it is machine polished
and then cleansed and washed once again.
Sealant is then applied to protect the paint from contaminents and finally
a wax layer is added so dirt and water has less of a hold on the surface.
The routine after this has been completed is a simple deep rinse, wash,
shampoo and the the application of a quick detailing spray.
We always carry the Quick Detailer in the car to ensure that optimum
shine for your photographs - adverse weather is always the exception
to this rule!
